Project overview
Cucina Rossa is a static, multi-page marketing website for a contemporary Italian trattoria in North Beach, San Francisco. It turns a restaurant’s menu, wine, reservations, private dining, story, journal, and location details into an editorial digital experience focused on handmade pasta, seasonal California produce, and unhurried hospitality.
The website is designed for diners who are deciding where to eat, what to order, or whether to book a table or private gathering. Its value proposition is clear: it makes the restaurant’s point of view tangible before the guest arrives, then provides fast paths into the menu and reservation experience.
Current implementation scope: this is a static frontend experience. Reservation and private-dining journeys are intentionally presented as pre-launch request previews; they do not submit to a booking, CRM, email, or payment service, and no availability or contact channel is represented as live.

Date, party-size, and preferred-time selection; disabled/enabled progression; an explicit non-live availability notice; guest-details preview; and client-side confirmation with selected request details preserved through.
04
Native required-field validation, disabled/enabled request progression, clear empty states, and calm pre-launch messaging for contact, newsletter, reservation, and private-event paths rather than simulated service.
05
Responsive desktop and mobile navigation, current-route states, a skip link, persistent reservation CTA, a true three-column desktop grid that optically centres route links between the wordmark and reservation action,.
06
GSAP hero entrance, multi-depth hero image parallax, an in-flow SVG provenance route that draws as the user scrolls, staged content reveals, hover feedback, and reduced-motion safeguards.

Three genuine captures from the live deployment show the opening view, an interior content section, and the responsive mobile composition.
