Project overview
Gridline Charge is a premium, frontend-only website for a fictional Manchester EV charging installation studio. It presents a full service discovery and enquiry journey for homeowners who want charging hardware, cable routing, off-peak scheduling, and solar/battery readiness planned around their actual property.
The project is deliberately positioned away from generic automotive or SaaS styling. Its visual system, The Domestic Grid, combines contemporary British utility modernism, warm architectural surfaces, compact technical labels, and a single high-visibility Gridline Red energy signal.
The site is a complete static commercial experience rather than a single landing page. The shared fixed header supports desktop and mobile navigation. Every normal forward internal link uses the shared ForwardLink component, which immediately resets scrollY to zero; the booking form does the same before routing to its confirmation state.
