Ink & Pine — Gourmet Food Gifting Storefront

Ink & Pine is a premium, editorial React storefront for a specialty food and gifting brand. The portfolio build focuses on the full customer journey from discovery to a demo checkout: it includes seasonal collections, product filtering, occasion-led recommendations, saved gifts, a slide-out cart, a validated corporate inquiry flow, and a future-ready commerce adapter layer.

Portfolio mode: the application runs against a deterministic local mock commerce provider. No payment is collected, no real order is submitted, and no customer data is persisted.

The visual direction is quiet editorial provisions. It uses a warm ink-and-cream palette, Libre Baskerville display typography, Manrope for interface text, art-directed high-key food photography, restrained interface motion, and a “provision note” language expressed through numeric labels, packing annotations, product tags, and the circular hero stamp.
