Project overview
Version: 1.0.0 · Prepared: 2026-08-19 · Status: client-ready portfolio demonstration
Tasting Latitude is an original, responsive travel-lead-generation website for curated wine and culinary journeys. The concept is designed for premium English-speaking travel clients in the United States, United Kingdom, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. It presents a fictional client brand, eight illustrative routes, and an accessible route-diagnostic conversion flow.
The design direction is The Lilac Ledger: contemporary editorial travel publishing with silver-lilac paper fields, warm documentary imagery, calm typography, and a cartographic Latitude Rule that connects route facts, selections, map nodes, and itinerary stages.
Experience details
01
Light and dark modes built from centralized semantic variables based on FCFCFE, EEEEF4, D9D8E5, 797C99, and 252633.
02
Mobile-first layout with separate mobile navigation, reflowed route diagnostic, responsive itinerary tabs, and editorial index behavior from 320px through ultrawide desktop.
03
Search, country, pace, and sort controls modify the actual in-memory trip data. The empty state has clear recovery actions.
04
A three-question Route Diagnostic recommends a route using pace, culinary palette, and group occasion; selections persist in localStorage and transfer into the inquiry flow.
05
Route selection, contact details, inline validation, review, loading, retryable demo failure, success, reset, and clear next steps. Use an email containing fail to exercise the retryable failure state.
06
Dynamic route dossiers with facts, highlights, a changing itinerary-day panel, gallery, FAQs, related routes, and contextual conversion action.

Three genuine captures from the live deployment show the opening view, an interior content section, and the responsive mobile composition.
